The All India Motor Transport Congress has given a nationwide strike call on Thursday Sept 19th, 2019
The transporters have called for a strike on Thursday, September 19. There will be no auto, cab or state transport vehicle on the road . The protest was supported by transporters from Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad and Rajasthan
Private school cabs will also join the transport strike; many schools in Delhi-NCR have issued advisory for parents
The Delhi Transport Union will be going on a strike protesting against the hefty traffic fines that recently came into force after implementation of the new Motor Vehicle Act 2019. The United Front of Transport Associations (UFTA) has confirmed that the strike will be include all class of commercial vehicles like Trucks, Busses, Cabs, Tempos, Auto Rickshaws and other Light and Medium Commercial vehicles.
